3D glasses

The red-blue 3D glasses are made especially for screen exercises, where the “red eye” (right) and the “blue eye” (left) see the blue and the red on the screen respectively. This makes sure both eyes are used in the exercise and gives depth in 3D exercises.

What it trains

• Anti-suppression – trains the brain to use information from both eyes instead of suppressing the image from one of them.
• Binocular fusion – trains the eyes to work together, so the images from the two eyes merge into one.
• Stereopsis (depth perception) – trains the ability to perceive depth from the differences between the two eyes’ images.
• Dichoptic training – each eye sees different parts of the screen image, so both eyes have to contribute.

Who it is for

For you if your eyes are not used equally well and you want to make a conscious effort to use them optimally together.

How to use them

• The filter colour in the lens matches the colour in the vision training exercise on the screen. If the screen is not adjusted quite correctly, you may see a faint “after-colour” – that does not matter as long as you are aware of it.
• Can also be used with the Brock string: the two strings you see each get their own colour, so you know which eye sees which string.
