Eye patch with foam backing

A comfortable eye patch from Bernell with a soft foam backing and an elastic band, suitable for vision training and everyday use. It fits closely so no light gets in, and it is curved so your eyelashes do not touch it when you blink.

What it trains

• Effective occlusion for monocular training – the eye patch covers one eye completely.
• Occlusion for double vision – after a brain injury, for example, (temporary) double vision can occur. This calls for a solid eye patch that is kind to the skin, blocks out all light and lets you blink freely all day.

How to use it

• Almost all eye movement exercises are best done with one eye at a time – which is why the eye patch is used a lot in TrainYourEyes training.

Good to know

• From Bernell, supplied in a small plastic bag.
• Handle it with a little care so the foam does not come away from the patch – it can be glued back on.
• Can be cleaned with alcohol.
