Bernell Aperture Rule™ Trainer Kit

The Bernell Aperture Rule™ Trainer Kit is a recognised vision training tool that strengthens a range of visual skills. It is easy to use, because it requires neither polarised nor coloured lenses.

What it trains

• Fusional and accommodative reserves – the ability to keep the image single and clear as the demand increases.
• Stereopsis (depth perception) – perceiving depth from the images of the two eyes.
• Fixation disparity – the eyes aiming at exactly the same point.
• Suppression – the brain using the image from both eyes.
• The accommodation–convergence relationship – the interplay between focusing and turning the eyes inwards.

Who it is for

For people with asthenopia (vision-related fatigue) or vision-related learning difficulties – both in the clinic and for home training.
